Hello dear readers. It has been a long while since the last post. We've survived snow and rain, a nasty cold and the general January blahs. Ella Brooks and I are looking to change things up a bit in the month of February. We've been planning our Valentine's day craft. We'll see how things pan out.
We do have a new fascination and accompanying photos. I must warn you that the following pictures are very adorable.
Sunday evenings Ella Brooks spends time in our church nursery while several of us meet for a small group. The women who care for our kids are very crafty and inventive. The older kids (2-4 year olds) actually sit down to dinner at an elaborately set table. They practice their manners as they eat their food. It is quite a site.
In addition to manners, the kids work on crafts. We recently received the Thanksgiving craft to take home.

Ta Da.
EB is a feathered Indian-er Native American.
Here's the thing- she loves to wear this. She thinks it is the greatest thing ever.

EB with Little Chief Rumbling River. You can take the boy out of camp, but you can't take the camp out of the boy. I wish I could claim that she learned to pose like this, but really she is just eating a cookie.
As I said, she loves wearing this headband. I came around the corner this morning and found this:

She'd put in on by herself. Because she is incredibly talented like that. But I'm not bragging.

She then tried to put this piece of pretend ham on her head.

But for some reason it didn't work.
I love my little Indian-er Native American girl.

does ella brooks have an indian name yet? Because she really should. Like, indian princess effervescent bumblebee (e.b. for short, of course), or something like that.
