We had the privilege of visiting Hilton Head with three other families over the past week. Each family had at least one child 2 years of age or younger. You can imagine that the house was teeming with life. And that life was very unpredictable most of the day.
Amazingly, the little ones did incredibly well throughout the week, in spite of over-stimulation, changed schedules and shared bedrooms. In fact, the two 2 year old boys were the best of friends and woke up each morning asking for the other one. Here are pictures of Ben and Steven wrastlin'.
Their daddies were on the sidelines encouraging the mayhem.
Ryan wasn't quite big enough to wrestle with the 2 year-olds, but he had his own kind of fun.
This boy likes to eat. Anything. Everything. We were all very impressed.
One more little boy joined us on the trip, Sam. He is almost the same age as EB. In fact, they were due on the same day, but God's plans differed from predicted dates. He is three weeks older than EB. And he is quite the charmer. Anytime eye contact was made he smiled or laughed. He is his mother's replica.
You may be wondering about EB's first beach experience. But this post is dedicated to the boys. Let's hear it for the boys!
Your blog is always (or just two times, now) getting songs stuck in my head--last week it was the tetris theme and now I'm humming "Let's hear it for the boys, let's give the boys a hand..."
ReplyDeleteAnyway, it looks like it was a really fun week. Looking forward to seeing pictures of the girls on the trip. I can't believe we still haven't gotten our two little ones together. We should hang out sometime.
