I'm a Big Girl, Look What I Can Do

So the moment I've long imagined has finally arrived. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a sitter. It took her a single day of trial and error before she decided that she should be able to sit by herself. I think it's her status as the firstborn that leads to her determination. On Wednesday she wobbled around making my heart tremble, but by Thursday morning she was sitting for long stretches of time. Amazing, isn't it?

Just look at her go!

Don't you just love those rubber band arms?

EB showing Lily how it's done.

The Maslin girls loving life. Sons of Ralph in the background sure helps!

I am hoping crawling takes her longer to learn. . .

  1. What a big girl, Ella Brooks!! Sitting up seems like it will make life a lot easier for you, right? Yeah, don't rush the crawling, though.

Rubber band arms is a great description! Julia has rubber band thighs. Don't tell her I said that when she's 16. They're so cute, though.
