I love the month of September. I love the easy transition it provides from summer to autumn. It is such a lovely month. This particular September has offered other types of transitions in addition to the seasonal one.
1. Our house is officially on the market. We signed up with For Sale By Owner and are forging ahead. We listed last Thursday and have had no (zero, nada, zip) responses. Apparently, this is normal. Normal really stinks sometimes.
2. Ella Brooks is no longer in itty-bitty sweet baby diapers. We just moved up to size 3 for night time. No more precious little Sensitive Pampers for her. I don't think I need to describe what is going into those diapers these days. Let me just say that it ain't pretty.
3. We are moving EB out of her carrier car seat into her fixed car seat this week. She has very nearly outgrown her car seat because she is so stinkin' long. This is a sad day for me. Placing her in her carrier the day we brought her home from the hospital is emblazoned on my brain. How is it possible that it is time for her to switch seats already?
I suppose transitions are good. They teach us patience and they remind us that we are not in control of everything. Whatever your transitions are I hope they are going smoothly this month.
