Trained Dog Free to a Good Home

Ezra came bounding into our lives nearly five years ago. Chris and I quickly fell in love. Head over heals, people. I am not even kidding. He's been a part of the family ever since.

Look at this face. How could you NOT fall in love with this face?

I love the SOB, but I have to admit I have been regretting the presence of our four legged friend recently. Particularly on the days that I vacuum and Swiffer TWICE. I am not using hyperbole here, folks. I am being very truthful. The truth needs no dramatization. This dog is in the middle of the worst shedding I have ever witnessed. In a 30 minute period of brushing I filled a whole Ingles shopping bag FULL of Ezra's undercoat. I was astounded because I was not even close to accomplishing the task before me.

Again with the face. How can anyone deny this face?

What is especially bothersome is placing the little presh-head on the floor to play. When a play session is complete, I pick up EB and find her hands, chest, and legs completely covered in downy undercoat. It ain't pretty. In fact, it is gross. She doesn't seem to mind, but the doting mama does. I Swiffer every day. I vacuum every few days. Just when our floor is as clean as it can get Ezra rises, stretches, and shakes and the fur goes flying. I shake an angry fist at the skies because that is all I can do.

But this face. I love it. I retract my offer. I mean it. No, really, I do. Maybe.

  1. Try Nick and Sara they may be up for taking Ezra.. and I also recommend this brush I found at Wal-mart.. I don't know the name of it, but it's made by American Dog Outfitters.. it's black with a red stripe on the handle and it has longer teeth in one row only and the teeth change in size from thick to thin on the one row. It works wonders in pulling all that loose under hair out!

  3. Yeah, it's frustrating. It sounds like you guys might have a more serious problem than we do but I get so annoyed with dog hair on the baby hands and clothes and toys and sometimes face. It's gross. I don't know what to tell you, though. Sounds like we should try the furminator.
    Cute Ezra pics. :)

  4. To test your true love for Ezra, you need to sign him up for this service: eternal-earthbound-pets.com (and be sure to read the FAQ's). Let me know if Ezra is deemed worthy! Cleo and Isis are going to be on their own.
